Kustleden - The Coastal Trail

The Coastal Trail strech, on narrow roads and footpaths, between Galtström up north all the way down to Sågtäkten (55km in total). You will pass by the idyllic communities Kalkugnsviken, Oxsand, Ragvaldsnäs, Fågelharrn, Bäcksand, Moningssand, Dyrån, Klackuddens naturreservat, Norrfjärden, Vattingen, the nature reserve of Vattingsmalarna, Sörfjärden, Gnarpskatens naturreservat, Hårte, Mellanfjärden, Koffsand, Lönnångersfjärden, Morängsviken, Stocka and Skutbryggan.

The pathway runs throught forests and old fishing villages, on sandy beaches and shingle fields where you can be lucky to see many Swedish spieces, both flora and fauna. To mention some examples; the White-tailed eagle, mooses, owls, foxes, roe-deer and badger.

Bring water, some snack and comfortable footwear/ treking boots. Enjoy your best friend's company or the silence of treking alone.

At the Tourist Information Centre, located in Jättendal, you will get a map and some useful information.
