In Nordanstig there is one place for all horse lovers; Halls Farm in Hassela. This farm provides horseback ridning all year round in our gorgeous landscapes and forests.
At Halls Gård horseback riding is conducted on Icelandic horses in beautiful Hälsingland all year round! The horseback journey pass through beautiful scenery, mountains and lakes with views for miles! On well-ridden, confident Icelandic horses, are you taken along forest paths and roads. They offer one and two hour long horse riding, one hour sleigh rides. During the sports holiday weeks of the winter season (week 10), they are available at Hassela Ski Resort with shorter sleigh rides.
They offer riding classes, riding camps, courses, events and trips with horse and carriage.

Horses are a great part of Nordanstig
There's a good reason we have a horse in our municipal coat of arms. The horse has been of great importance to our region throughout the ages, as in many other rural areas. In more modern times, Nordanstig has long been one of the most horse-dense areas in the country.
Today, horses still holds a special place in our lives as a leisure interest and as a business. The sport of trotting is thriving with Hagmyren's trotting track being so closely accessible. Nprdanstig has raised many fine stars in the sport.
We have active riding clubs and riding schools in Bergsjö, Harmånger, Jättendal, Gnarp and Hassela. They organize many events, such as jumping competitions, riding lessons, riding camps and other equestrian activities, throughout the year.
Hammarn - Häst, Hälsa, Gård - In Svedje, Hassela you will find this center of nature, animals and harmony. Including; Inca shamanic energy medicine, healing, personal development courses, horseback riding and more. Here you are offered to go on an adventure in the Hälsingland forests, an experience of a lifetime. You meet the animals, enjoy the wonderful nature and the silence, and can go on horse rides!
